boAt, a brand known for their many products in the consumer audio space, is expanding their product line in the fitness market with the launch of their first smartwatch called the boAt Storm. It features a 1.3 curved touch screen display, heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, multiple sports modes, 5ATM water resistance and more.
Its ergonomically-designed curved body body is made out metal, ensuring quality and durability. It offers many customization options via the boAt ProGear app for the 1.3-inch colour touch display, giving users the choice between 100+ personalized and downloadable cloud-based watch faces.
With regards to health monitoring, the Storm smartwatch can measure SpO2 and supports 24/7 heart rate tracking. For women, the watch can record and predict Menstrual and Ovulation Cycles with the Menstruation Cycle Tracker. It features 9 sports built-in, namely Running, Walking, Cycling, Hiking, Climbing, Fitness, Treadmill, Yoga and Dynamic Cycling.
Battery life is rated at up to 10 days with continuous usage, thanks to its 210mAh battery. The interchangeable straps are made out silicon and the watch comes in two colours — Active Black and Black & Blue.
The boAt Storm smartwatch will be available tomorrow from Flipkart and boAt’s website for a price of Rs. 1999.
